Ryan and Hannah, congratulations on your engagement! I am so glad to be able to write this post to you and I’m happy to be a part of your experience. You see, I have had the opportunity to know Ryan over the years since he was in High School and then I also had the opportunity to take his Senior photos. I was super happy for Ryan and Hannah when they got engaged but when they asked me to take their engagement photos I was extra happy :). It is great to see young people starting on this journey called marriage. Last night when I was taking Ryan and Hannah’s engagement photos I had flash back memories of his Senior session and now engagement photos? One of the things I love about photography is that I can continue to document happy and very meaningful moments in my client’s lives.
Ryan and Hannah, as you prepare for your wedding, pick out your outfits; order the cake, look at venues, choose colors, go to marriage counseling; have fun and enjoy your preparations. Marriage in and as of itself will not make you happy because marriage is not a destination; it is a journey. Make sure to do things to lift each other person up, all the time. Marriage is only as happy as the happiness each of you brings to it and God always being the center of your lives. Remember that. Remember that the wedding is one day; the marriage is the journey of life. May your love shine brighter and your companionship grow richer with each passing day.
